From the age of 16, Guillaume began working in boat insurance at Marine Expert. Between 1996 and 2001, he held the position of boat insurance underwriter. Then, during his studies in management, he worked with the finance team. In May 2004, Guillaume spent three years at Axa Assurances as part of the underwriting team for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in Montreal.
Coming from a family of insurance brokers, he returned to brokerage in the spring of 2007 and co-founded a firm specializing in boat and business insurance with his father, Mario Larosée. In the fall of 2017, he became Vice President of Commercial Insurance at Groupe Lanthier Assurances.
Over the course of his 30 years of experience in boat insurance, he has insured more than ten thousand boat owners, and since 2009, he has also insured numerous nautical businesses.
After building a career in the automotive dealership industry, Marie-Soleil took the plunge into the world of boat insurance in 2018. Since 2020, she has also obtained her commercial insurance broker license in order to broaden her reach with boat dealerships, marinas, and boat repair businesses.
Her management experience, along with her interest in the nautical field, led her to accept the position of Director of the Pleasure Craft Department in 2021. In 2026, she will become co-owner of Nauti Expert Inc., dedicating her efforts to finding insurance solutions for clients navigating internationally.
Mario has 50 years of experience in property and casualty insurance, including 40 years in boat insurance. He founded Marine Expert in 1993 and created the first CRM for boat insurance in Quebec in the late 1990s. Over the past 30 years, he has mentored numerous boat insurance brokers.
He has owned several insurance firms, including M.G.L. Assurances with his son, Guillaume Larosée. Now semi-retired, his passion for boat insurance and the development of the boating business remains as strong as ever.
With over 20 years of experience in customer service, Claudine has developed strong expertise focused on listening, understanding clients’ needs, and ensuring their satisfaction. Her experience provides Nauti Expert clients with personalized, professional, and efficient service.
For nearly two years with the company, she has been applying these skills in the field of marine insurance, bringing rigor, commitment, and passion to each of her interactions.
